Parsa, Dec 23: National chairman of Nepal Sadbhawana Party Anil Kumar Jha today urged the main opposition CPN-UML to let Parliament do its business without obstructions so as to help give the country a political outlet.
Arguing that the constitution amendment proposal registered in Parliament recently was prepared under the government led by the UML, he said so it was not in favour of anyone to bring a difficult situation by obstructing parliamentary business against the proposal.
He was referring to the UML and other opposition parties which have been obstructing the parliament since November 29 in protest against the constitution amendment bill the government registered in Parliament on that date.
Addressing a press conference in Birgunj, the former minister viewed that there was no alternative to giving the country a way out as a lack of mutual consensus between political parties would rather weaken democracy.
He also blamed ruling Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Centre) for not showing seriousness towards letting obstructed parliamentary business resume. RSS
